Ms. Francesca Pacchiano
"I was waiting in the dining room, just wondering what to say when suddenly the children came back from school, graciously smiling at me.
Everything changed. Their smile was the key...playing my secret chords, giving me proof that my faith in love was still strong.
Just a moment before I had been sitting in the dark contemplating my fate and the next moment they were silently taking my hands, showing me the light.
That night,I turned my head up to the sky and the beauty of the stars above overthrew me. Hope there will be a time for you to go there, like I did.
Hope you will give a hand to Sonrisa, a special place where love and joy shine in peace.
I lived with them for a short time, the echo of it will be everlasting in my heart."

Namaste!
I spent 2 months at Sonrisa as a live-in volunteer staff in 2008. It was a great exeprience of inclusiveness. During my stay, the children taught me the joy and greatness of sharing, giving and helping each other. The children's life in Nepal is very simple and they have few things, unlike the children in Canada or Japan; yet thay don't hesitate to share their most precious possessions, such as their hair bands, a cutout from a magazine, flowers on the way to school, or a beautiful drawings.
I was also very impressed by the Sonrisa workers and board members. They are all sincere, enthusiastic Nepalese with big hearts. They dedicate their time, money and effort to this orphanage, and are always searching for ways to make it a better place. I feel very honored to be a friend of such wonderful people. I want to keep working with them for a bright future of the children.

Mr. Ivan Pelletier
I have pass 6 month in Nepal betwen the end of 2006 and the begining of 2007.
After work with different orphanages there, i have realize that few of them give good chances to the children to have a good future.
One team of Nepali people who was thinking the same, decide to create a new organisation. With the wish to give to the children the best. And with a plan of evolution and a clear and transparent accomptancy.
During my time in Nepal I tried to help them as I could and I will continue to help them from France because I am very confidant with them. In Nepal it was very difficult to find trustly people but with this team and more with its responsable, I am very sure.
