Dear Rachel,Carol Ann and Sachiko

It is hard for me to say how grateful we all are here for all the work you put into the "Stepping Stones" project.  I know it has been such an effort of love for all of you and I am so happy that all the hard work you put into organizing it was repaid so wonderfully.  Right from the beginning, your ideas for Sonrisa were so strong and then to make the whole thing happen, with all the acts and the generosity of the performers like Thomas, Dorothy and Gio, was incredible.

Please thank Thomas for flying all the way from Calgary and Gio for being the Master of Ceremonies.  We are so glad there was able to be a “flavour” of Nepal with Dorothy’s performance.  Please thank her too.  Maybe one day the children at Sonrisa will be able to do this for other people!

Donations like this make the ultimate goal of having a “home” for the children of Sonrisa possible. We will put this money towards that dream-somewhere that is truly home for the children, in a clean and safe environment and where they can grow strong and happy.  From the bottom of my heart, and from all of us here, thank you very much for all you have done.
