Pashupati Visit
We visited pashupati this month. Children got to visit the temple with our volunteer Ms. Sachiko.
Kung Fu Panda
Our good friend Mr. Dilip Rai took all of us to the movies this month. It was a first time in the movie theater for our children. Children didn't quite understand the English movie but they seemed to be enjoying their day out.

Happy 11th Birthday to Srijana (June 9) and Lhakpa (June 18).
We had our very first birthday celebration for Srijana on June 9th. We baked a cake and had dinner together at the orphanage with some of our friends, Mr. Gyan Bahadur Lama, Mr. Dilip Rai, Mrs. Amrita Rai, Miss. Sunita Tamang, Mr. Paru Hang Rai, Mr. Rajen Gurung, Mr. Ananda Pun.
Lakpa's birthday was on June 18th. We bought cake for her and the children had a wonderful evening together with our visiting friend from Calgary Dr. Gwen Holler.
We are very happy to let you know that two of our older girls, Srijana and Lakpa, recently won scholarships from their school, which is another achievement of the children.
This month, we have been quite busy with the maintenance work at our new home. Children now have floor carpeting in their room.
We have started our little vegetable garden. Some of the children have planted flowers, which they take care of everyday.
We have started building a small chicken shed behind the house with the help of Mr. Yohan Pour. It's half complete. We are hoping to finish this task soon.
Volunteer
We said good bye to Ms. Sachiko Kojima this month who have been staying with us as a volunteer for the past one month. She had been of great help to us and we will miss her very much.
